IDA Power offers complete environmental risk transfer with robust corporate indemnification in order to provide site remediation at a guaranteed fixed price.
IDA Power will provide a comprehensive evaluation of the retired or retiring generating station, coal ash impoundments, coal ash landfills, and all assets and liabilities associated with the site in order to provide the client with an accurate valuation.
IDA Power will provide demolition, asbestos abatement, environmental remediation, and all associated sitework necessary to reposition the site for its highest and best future use.
At close, IDA Power assumes all environmental liabilities associated with the site and becomes responsible for adherence to all state or federal regulatory requirements.
Remediation funds are placed in escrow and are tied to the execution of mutually established milestones.
Third-Party environmental engineering services will be provided by one of IDA Power’s industry leading remediation consultants.
